Solid Oak Bench | Uruz Handmade White Oak Bench

Uruz Solid Oak Bench

The Uruz Solid Oak Bench combines clean proportions with the natural warmth and character of solid white oak. We handcraft every bench in our Leicestershire workshop using carefully selected timber.

Its gently curved legs give the Uruz a distinctive shape while keeping the design simple and timeless. As a result, the natural grain and character of the oak remain at the heart of the piece.

Handcrafted from Solid White Oak

We make each Uruz bench individually from carefully selected solid white oak using traditional woodworking techniques.

Natural variations in grain, knots and colour give every bench its own character. Therefore, no two Uruz benches will ever look exactly alike.

In addition, the solid construction creates a strong and practical piece of furniture. However, the simple proportions keep the design elegant enough for both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Natural Osmo Polyx Oil Finish

We carefully sand and prepare each bench by hand. We then finish the oak with Osmo Polyx Oil.

This high-quality finish protects the timber while enhancing its natural colour and grain. It also creates a smooth, tactile surface while retaining the natural look and feel of real wood.

A Versatile Solid Oak Bench

For example, the Uruz works beautifully throughout the home. Use it as an oak dining bench, hallway bench, boot-room seat, bedroom bench or occasional seat.

Its understated design works particularly well alongside a dining table. Alternatively, place it on its own in a hallway, bedroom or living space.

The smaller sizes can also work as a compact solid oak coffee table or low occasional table, giving the Uruz even more versatility around the home.
