Handcrafted from carefully selected solid European oak in our Leicestershire workshop, the Eald Oak Bench combines clean Scandinavian-inspired styling with traditional craftsmanship.

Its simple, substantial design showcases the natural grain and character of the oak, while the lower shelf provides useful storage for shoes, baskets or everyday items. This makes the Eald equally at home in a hallway, boot room, bedroom or living space.

Hand-Finished Solid Oak

Each Eald bench is individually made and finished by hand. Natural variations in grain, colour and figuring mean that every bench has its own character.

The oak is protected with Osmo Polyx oil, producing a durable, hard-wearing finish while retaining the natural look and feel of the timber.

Choose from two distinctive finishes to complement your home.

Natural Golden Oak – finished by hand with Osmo Polyx®-Oil High Solid. This enhances the natural golden tones and grain of the European oak while providing a durable, natural-looking finish.

Aged Dark Oak – carefully stained to create a rich, aged-brown oak tone, then finished by hand with Osmo Polyx®-Oil High Solid. This protects the timber while retaining the natural look, grain and feel of the oak.

Built from Solid Oak – Eald Bench

The Eald solid oak bench works beautifully in a hallway, boot room, bedroom or living space. Its solid oak construction gives it a reassuringly sturdy feel, while the clean lines and practical lower shelf provide useful everyday storage. Built from real European oak rather than veneered board, it is designed to develop even more character as it ages.

Made to Order

The Eald Oak Bench is available in a choice of sizes, allowing you to select a bench suited to your space. As each piece is handmade, custom dimensions can also be discussed.

Handmade in Leicestershire

We make each Eald individually in our Leicestershire workshop. Natural variations in grain, knots and colour mean that every bench has its own individual character.

We carefully shape, sand and finish each bench by hand to create a piece of solid oak furniture made for everyday use.
