The Perthö Solid Walnut Step Stool is handcrafted from solid walnut in our Leicestershire workshop. Its flowing curved sides and simple proportions create a distinctive piece of furniture that combines practical everyday use with the natural beauty of walnut.

Crafted from Solid Walnut

Each Perthö is individually made from carefully selected solid walnut. The timber’s rich brown tones, natural grain patterns and subtle colour variations give every stool its own character.

The gently shaped sides soften the design and give Perthö its recognisable Scandinavian-inspired appearance, while the solid timber construction provides strength and durability.

Smooth Hand-Finished Surface

We carefully sand each stool to create a smooth, tactile surface before applying Osmo Polyx oil. The oil protects the timber while enhancing the depth and natural figuring of the walnut without hiding its character.

Practical Around the Home

Perthö works beautifully as a step stool, small occasional stool, bedside stool or decorative piece. Its compact footprint makes it particularly useful where space is limited.

We handcraft every Perthö Solid Walnut Step Stool to order in our Leicestershire workshop using traditional woodworking techniques.

Walnut naturally varies in grain, tone and figuring. As a result, no two Perthö stools will be exactly alike, making each one an individual piece of handcrafted furniture.
