We handcraft the Laguz solid oak bistro stool from carefully selected European oak in our Leicestershire workshop. Its clean, traditional design combines strength and practicality with the natural character of solid timber.

The generous oak seat and sturdy frame make the Laguz ideal for kitchens, breakfast bars and casual dining spaces. Traditional joinery adds strength, while the simple design allows the natural beauty of the oak to take centre stage.

Two Hand-Finished Oak Finishes

Choose from two distinctive finishes to complement your home.

Natural Golden Oak – finished by hand with Osmo Polyx®-Oil High Solid. This enhances the natural golden tones and grain of the European oak while providing a durable, natural-looking finish.

Aged Dark Oak – carefully stained to create a rich, aged-brown oak tone. We then finish it by hand with Osmo Polyx®-Oil High Solid. This protects the timber while retaining the natural look, grain and feel of the oak.

Designed for Everyday Living
In addition, the Laguz works beautifully as a kitchen stool, breakfast bar seat or occasional stool around the home. Its solid oak construction gives it a reassuringly sturdy feel, while the gently shaped seat and simple lines keep the design warm and understated. Built from real European oak rather than veneered board, it is designed to develop even more character as it ages.

We make each Laguz individually in our Leicestershire workshop. Natural variations in grain, knots and colour mean that every stool has its own individual character.

We carefully shape, sand and finish each stool by hand to create a piece of solid oak furniture made for everyday use.
