Perthö Oak & Walnut Step Stool

The Perthö oak and walnut step stool combines two beautiful hardwoods in one distinctive handcrafted design. Made in our Leicestershire workshop, each stool pairs the warm natural character of solid oak with the rich, contrasting tones of walnut.

The flowing curved sides give the Perthö its Scandinavian-inspired appearance, while the contrasting timbers highlight its shape and craftsmanship. Designed to be both practical and decorative, it is a piece of furniture made to be seen rather than hidden away.

Crafted Oak and Walnut Step Stool

Each Perthö is individually handmade from carefully selected solid oak and solid walnut. The contrast between the lighter oak and darker walnut creates a striking two-tone appearance while allowing the natural grain of both timbers to remain an important part of the design.

Because we use natural solid timber, every stool has its own individual grain patterns, tones and character.

Smooth Hand-Finished Surface

We carefully shape and sand each stool by hand before applying Osmo Polyx oil. This durable finish protects the timber while enhancing the natural colour, grain and figuring of both the oak and walnut.

The gently rounded edges and smooth surfaces give the Perthö a tactile, furniture-quality finish.

Practical Around the Home

The Perthö works beautifully as a step stool, small occasional stool, bedside stool or decorative piece. Its compact footprint makes it particularly useful in kitchens, bedrooms and living spaces where attractive furniture also needs to be practical.

We handcraft every Perthö Oak & Walnut Step Stool to order in our Leicestershire workshop, carefully shaping, assembling and finishing each piece individually.

Natural variations in oak and walnut mean no two Perthö stools will be exactly alike, giving every piece its own individual character.
