The Eihwaz solid oak side table is handcrafted from carefully selected white oak in our Leicestershire workshop. Its slim, space-saving proportions allow it to fit neatly beside a sofa, armchair or bed where a conventional side table may be too wide.

In addition, the compact design provides a useful surface for drinks, books, a lamp or decorative pieces. In addition, the lower shelf provides extra storage or display space without making the table feel bulky.

Handmade from Solid European Oak

We make each table from solid European character and prime oak, carefully choosing the timber for its strength, grain and natural beauty. Character oak may feature small knots and distinctive variations in grain and colour. As a result, every table has its own individual appearance.

We use traditional mortise and tenon joinery throughout to create a strong, durable piece of furniture for everyday use.

We carefully sand each table by hand and finish it with Osmo Polyx®-Oil Original. This premium hardwax-oil protects the timber while enhancing the natural colour, grain and character of the oak.

The Eihwaz solid oak side table comes in four different heights, allowing you to choose the size that best suits your sofa, armchair, bed or intended space:

The wider top and feet provide additional stability, while the central frame remains just 14cm deep. Therefore, the table fits neatly into narrower spaces without sacrificing a useful surface area.

We make each Eihwaz side table to order from solid white oak and finish it with Osmo Polyx®-Oil Original, creating a beautiful and durable natural finish.

Designed for Smaller Spaces

With its slim proportions, the Eihwaz solid oak side table is ideal where space is limited. Place it beside a sofa or armchair for drinks, books or a table lamp. Alternatively, it works beautifully as a compact bedside table or occasional table.

The lower shelf provides useful extra storage without taking up unnecessary floor space. As a result, the table works particularly well in smaller living rooms, apartments and cosy spaces.

Handmade in Leicestershire

We individually handcraft every table in our Leicestershire workshop using traditional woodworking techniques. Because we work with genuine solid oak, the natural grain, knots and colouring vary slightly from piece to piece. Therefore, these natural variations give every table its own unique character.
