Compact sofa / side table in European character & prime oak. Ideal for tight spaces or the end of your settee this compact table is perfect for hallways, lounges, bathrooms, bedrooms; a good all round purposeful piece of furniture.
Character & prime oak may sometimes contain small knots and can display a distinct wavey grain. It is a beautiful wood and ideal for making these small side tables, they are smooth to the touch and completely different from a ‘ rustic ‘ pine, which in essence is an imitation of character oak.
The oak used is 1″ thick and kiln dried.
The frames are mortice & tenon joined with a professional spray finished in clear 10% sheen conversion lacquer, resulting in a highly durable, low maintenance finish
Because oak is far denser and heavier than pine, this small handy table with lower storage is very stable considering its narrowness. The top is 19.5 wide and 45 cm long and for good measure it also has 19.5cm wide feet to aid its stability, whilst the rest of the frame and is slim at 14 cm.
